Indian Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been subject to a renewed death threat, with gunmen firing outside his residence in Mumbai. Two individuals could be seen on a motorbike shooting three shots into the air outside the film star's house. Surveillance footage has made it difficult for the police to identify them. Khan previously received threats, leading to him being granted Y+ protection, when a criminal gang made an assassination threat over his indictment on charges of murdering a blackbuck in 1998. In 2019, he was also threatened by a Canadian gang boss. The actor is one of India's best-known and wealthiest, with a career spanning about 30 years.
