The Red Sea International Film Foundation has announced the addition of prominent figures in the cultural scene to its board of trustees. The new members include Haifaa Al-Mansour, Firas Al-Turki, and Salman Al-Sudairi. They will be joining Abdullah Al-Ayaf Al-Qahtani and Hadeel Saleh Kamel, who are already members of the board. The board is headed by Jumana Rashed Al-Rashed, who has played a key role in overseeing the foundation's strategy and general direction. Al-Mansour, the first Saudi female director to earn global recognition, was included in the new list of names. Meanwhile, Al-Turki is the Joint Services Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Culture, and Al-Sudairi is an administrative partner at a law firm in Riyadh. Abdullah Al-Ayaf Al-Qahtani is a filmmaker, novelist, and award-winning director, while Hadeel Saleh Kamel is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tawafuq Leasing Company. The Red Sea International Film Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports the cinema industry in Saudi Arabia and the region as a whole. The foundation aims to promote cultural and entertainment sectors and establish a vibrant society and a thriving economy rich in creative experiences and talents.
