American pop icon Madonna performed a free concert on Rio de Janeiro's famous Copacabana beach to a crowd of approximately 1.6 million people, what she described as her biggest show ever. The concert was the last stop of Madonna's world tour celebrating her four-decade-long career, where she performed 80 concerts in Europe, North America, and Mexico. The pop icon opened her Rio concert with the song "Nothing Really Matters," spoke to the crowd, saying, “Here we are in Rio, the most beautiful place in the world," and continued performing her hits for two hours. Madonna appeared on stage wearing a shiny short black dress with long blond hair falling over her shoulder.
