Red Sea Film Foundation participates in 10th edition of Saudi Arabia Film Festival.

Red Sea Film Foundation has announced its participation in the 10th edition of the Saudi Film Festival, which will take place in Al Dhahran from 2-9 May 2024. The foundation is supporting the festival as part of its vision to promote partnerships with leading domestic and international film festivals, as well as to strengthen the Saudi film industry. As part of its sponsorship, the foundation will have a special booth at the festival which will showcase various initiatives, including the Red Sea Production Fund, and sponsor the prize for the best Saudi short film screenplay. The foundation will also submit a supported film, Dreams of the Age, directed by Qusai and Jafar Qusai, to participate in the festival's fiction film competition. In addition, the foundation has offered financial assistance to support the winning recipient of the prize to produce their short film project. The Saudi Film Festival is a prominent cinematic event that celebrates the Saudi film industry by hosting competitions, developing film scripts, a wide range of cultural programs, and workshops. The festival also serves as a convergence point for Saudi filmmakers from all over the kingdom. Since its establishment in 2020, the Red Sea Film Foundation has participated in numerous prestigious festivals nationally and internationally. It has also launched several programs and initiatives to support the film industry in production, distribution, education and training. Today, it plays a critical role in fostering the next generation of filmmakers and building a sustainable film industry in Saudi Arabia, Africa and Asia.
