Iraqi singer Fouad Abdulwahed has collaborated with composer Talal to produce “Majnoun” – a song with a catchy new melody and an engaging video. The piece, directed by Bassam Al Turk and with lyrics by poet Ali Masaed, was filmed over two days in Turkey. Abdulwahed also recently headlined the Dar Al Zain festival in the UAE, performing a range of classics to great audience enthusiasm. The festival was organized by Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism. Abdulwahed will go on to perform a number of other gigs throughout the Gulf region in the coming weeks.
