Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and head of the Council of Ministers, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, received the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, in Mecca. The leaders reviewed bilateral relations and discussed increasing cooperation and development. Attendees included Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, and ministers of state, finance and foreign affairs, as well as national security advisors and intelligence chiefs. From the Somali delegation, those present included the ministers of defence, finance, commerce, fisheries, and international cooperation, as well as the Republic’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
