Thabet and Jamil are suffering from unemployment. They defraud a circus owner, so he sends his men to chase them. Jamil hides inside a box shipped to Cairo, followed by Thabet. In Cairo, they meet a girl whose parents have died. She lives with her aunt. The aunt hides from the girl the truth about her father’s wealth, so she works as a singer in a nightclub. The girl falls in love with Thabet. Her aunt learns the truth about this relationship and tries to ruin it, as she plans to marry her to her lover, with the two of them sharing the wealth of the girl father
