He graduated from the Faculty of Laws, Alexandria University in...Read more 1990, and obtained a Bachelor's degree at the Higher Cinema Institute of Cinema in 1994. He directed and produced many documentaries and short films, which were shown in a number of international festivals, Sand some of them won awards. His real debut was directing his first feature film Basra (2008),which was shown in a number of international and local festivals and won several prizes.
