An Egyptian actor, born mid 1950s in Bolak Aboul Ela area in Cairo, then moved to another popular area which is Bolak El Dakrour.

He was known for his interest in poems writing during his childhood, but his acting talents clearly arouse during his university years, when he formed an acting group of workers and peasants and named it “Association of people’s working power”.

He owes his appearance on stage to the director Shaker Abdel Latif, who gave him a role in the play “Rab’a El Adaweya”, and to the famous actor Mohamed Sobhi who gave him the chance to join the group “Studios 80” and gave him roles in several plays such as: El Mahzouz, Enta Horr, and El Hamagi. Sobhi also gave him the chance to appear in his famous TV series “Sonbol Ba’ed El Mellion” which was the role that made his fame.

Among his famous TV series: Ze’ab El Gabal, Ayam El Monira, Sekket El Helaly, Raya We Sekina, El Malek Farouk, El Daly, Nasser, and Abou Dehka Genan.
