Samira Said is few days away from being enlisted in the Arab music business empire, i.e. Rotana.

The Moroccan El Diva, as she’s dubbed by fans, has went through months long highly secretive talks with the entertainment magnet, until a common understanding has been apparently reached.

Said’s current producer, Mohsen Gaber of Alam El Fann, has been a target of her accusations, for one thing because he, according to her, unjustifiably delayed the release of her latest album, Ayyam Hayati, and also for the inadequate marketing it was given.

The last straw is the figure offered by Gaber for an extended contract, which he justified by recession and piracy,The deal with Rotana is expected to be unveiled some time soon.

Said was back from Morocco’s music festival Mawazine, and is set for a summer vacation with her child son, Shadi, in a European resort.
